The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Party

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a diverse cast of personalities, and a thrilling plot featuring angels, fiends, and sinister influences expanding in power within the city.

Note: Key plot points for the third episode of this adventure lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

Episode 3 ended with a huge suspense moment and presented the initial group of characters who will separate from the main group to begin their separate journey, apart from the other two tables.

This warrior group includes Teor Pridesire (played by the voice actor), Thimble (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Given 13 cast members, it was clear from the beginning that having everyone at a single group would be impossible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Overture, weaving together the individual narratives before dividing into three distinct groups: Warriors, Planners, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

As described by the DM, the warrior group is for players who enjoy a classically intense battle-oriented narrative style where diplomatic options are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander might seem unsuited, but the actions of the latest installment demonstrate why these five characters are best suited for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

First, the group knows exactly where to head next after a brutal first encounter with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose death started the narrative’s action—used the enemy for his own means, invading Thjazi’s hideout, striking Thimble, and taking all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The antagonist then settled his obligations and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, north of Dol-Makjar, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each adventurer has a personal reason to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, seeks retribution.
  • The adventurer knows the region and cautions that it is a nasty environment.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having defied his relatives’ demands to eliminate the fighter and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • But, their status as prominent individuals in House Halovar could enable the party access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The fighter swore a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his salvation and will now follow him anywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are wanted by the authorities that rule the city for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and The healer betrayed House Halovar and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This means them few options but to journey toward the northern region in search of the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

Based on episode three’s Cooldown, we discover that the warrior group won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight cast members to form the Seekers and Strategists tables.

Fans can expect learning which players will be assigned to which table in the season’s last Overture episode, streaming live on next week.
